Eric Bana: Or why Deadfall looks to be my biggest guilty pleasure of the year
There’s something not quite right about this trailer. I can’t put my finger on it. Some of the imagery is too similar to Eric Bana’s recent film, Hanna. The southern accent sounds like it could be a distracting problem. Olivia Wilde is drop dead gorgeous, but about as much fun to watch as a dead fish. Charlie Hunnam is sometimes distractingly bad. And director Stefan Ruzowitz’s hugely moving The Counterfeiters left too a standard and I’m afraid I will be burned like after I put all my trust in Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck because of The Lives of Others, but than shat all over me with The Tourist.
Apparently I can put my number on it. All of these concerns aside, I’m super pumped about this movie and will pay full bay area prices to see it. I’m so confused.
PS – BFR moved to San Francisco!
