In a case of "they can do no right," I left almost wishing it had followed a few more of the standard procedures we'd come to expect, as it kind of felt like it was all for naught. It wasn't very dramatic, didn't really teach us anything, didn't really endear us to any of the characters (outside of maybe a few teachers), etc. I wished that it were either a full-on doc or a full-on drama. That said, I was entertained the whole time - I just didn't think it lived up to its billing. It just wasn't powerful enough, and not nearly stylish enough to get away with its subtlety. I can’t say that I was blown away.
