I agree it's tacky and uncouth. I hadn't seen a preview for the film before I saw it in theaters, I had just heard so much about it from bloggers that attended TIFF, I thought I'd see what all the fuss was about. It just seemed like a cheap ploy, and very distasteful. I know Dianna died well over a decade ago, and was no saint, but using her tragic life to attempt to pull in movie audiences seems uncool, to me.
