Top 5 Gambling Movies
For some reason, the onset of fall, and believe me, the nights are starting to get chilly, says to me its time to go to Vegas and gamble. I’m not sure why, I’m not a huge gambler, but I’ve been known to play some slots. And a lot of roulette. A little bit of craps. I haven’t yet dared to gamb Any how, the changing weather got me thinking of my favorite gambling movies. This is what I came up with. What did I miss?
Rounders – 1998
Croupier - 1998
The Hustler – 1961
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels – 1998
The Grifters – 1990
What was up with gambling in film in the late nineties? Poor Angelica Houston looks like she lost out on the best casino bonus. I’ll admit, some of these have pretty thin links to gambling. At least not in the traditional,sense of the word. But I feel like they still fit the genre. What are you favorites? What did I miss!?

Rounders and The Hustler are musts, of course. I am happy to see Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels as well, but I agree that Casino is a glaring omission. Still a fun list though.
