I’d say maybe see it again in theaters. I get to see it for free, so if you come to Pleasantville you could see it free too. But then there’d be pesky travel costs. In any case, see it again.

Ivy, Two Lovers is definitely a film to watch a second time, I can’t decide if I should check it out in theaters again before it leaves or just rent it. When I rent, I tend to pay less attention, I get busy with other things, but maybe this is the best option anyway.

Jen, you’re quite right. I forgot about his performance in Walk the Line, which was fantastic, and he deserved his Oscar nom. When it comes to filmmakers, I tend to polarize my opinions, when really, there’s some gray area…

And CindyKnowsMovies, how’s knuckle head? Is that better?

So, you weren’t blown away by his performance in Walk the Line? That is the one that made me really sit up and take notice of his talent.

I wasn’t that interested in seeing this movie but your review may have swayed me to at least rent it when it comes to dvd.

I’m so happy you liked it! It was so much better than I thought it would be going in and I can’t wait till it comes out on DVD. I totally agree that Shaw steals all attention when she’s onscreen.
