@ David - The New York Times loved it. I guess they're tarnished for you as they enjoy drivel as well?

In fact, 73% of critics liked this drivel:

Wouldn't it be nicer to have a respectable exchange of opinions, rather than use the anonymity of the internet to say thing's you'd never say in person?

Your 5-star review of this horrible movie definitely tarnished my impressions of your blog. Sorry to hear you liked this drivel.

A great barometer for this film (as a complete hellion when I was a child) was how many times I sat back and said "Yeah, I've been there, man." Spike worked very, very hard to tap the vein of young angst directed everywhere and nowhere.

I wasn't quite as blown away by this movie as you were but I have to agree that the cinematography was beautiful!

You don't hear movies getting called lachrymose all that often - nicely said!

Such a wonderful movie, and one where so much could have gone truly wrong. This is a great review (one I agree with wholeheartedly), and hopefully more people get to see this movie before it faces into the background of the holiday movie schedule.
